What does Feather FLOW™ drink for golfers do to my teeth?

The acidity of the drink directly affects its shelf life. The pH of Feather FLOW™ is 3.6 – 3.7. This is about the same as the pH of soft drinks, sport drinks and energy drinks. This pH level safeguards the quality of Feather FLOW™ giving it a best before date of one year from bottling.
We recommend that, in addition to Feather FLOW™, you drink water or mineral water during your golf round. This way the effect of acidity on your teeth decreases.
Feather FLOW™ contains also green tea. Scientific research shows that green tea helps increase oral hygiene.

Can diabetics drink Feather FLOW™?

Is that graph true?

The graph on the Feather FLOW™ label helps visualize the fact that the drink gives you even supply of energy throughout the game. This is based on the fact that L-Carnitine utilizes fat as a source of energy. Your energy carries you further. Pycogenol®, in turn, helps maintain sugar level while fructose releases energy evenly.
Feather FLOW™ drink for golfers has been designed so that all ingredients act together as a whole. The sum of its parts is larger than the sum of each individual ingredient put together.

Is Feather FLOW™ a sports drink or an energy drink?

Feather FLOW™ is neither a sports drink nor an energy drink. It is a foodstuff intended for particular nutritional use (Decree 662/2000, Ministry of Industry and Trade, based on EU directive 398/1898 as amended by directives 84/1996 and 41/1999). This means that is has been designed for a particular use: as a balancing performance drink for golfers. There are two kinds of foodstuffs intended for particular nutritional use. The conventional ones contain mainly ordinary ingredients such as chocolate, oat flakes, sugar, nuts, and dried fruits. The other category is the category for formula products. Formula products are products whose ingredients constitute mainly of pure or concentrated carbohydrates, protein and/or fats. Formula products are aimed mainly at sportsmen and other special needs groups. Formula products can be used to substitute meals partially or completely. Feather FLOW™ drink for golfers has been classified by the Finnish Food Safety Authorities as a formula product. When you drink Feather FLOW™, you drink a formula product.

Can the bottle be recycled?

Feather FLOW™ drink for golfers is packed in 0.5 litre PET bottles. Beginning January 2008 PET bottles can be returned for recycling. These bottles will not be refilled. They will be recycled as raw material for new products. The deposit for Flow bottles and other PET bottles will be 0.20 €.
Currently, 90 % of drink cans sold in Finland are returned. This is an exceptionally high figure internationally speaking. Flow Drinks challenges everyone who buys Flow to help meet this return rate.
Until PET packaging can be returned for recycling, you can recycle your bottles along with other packaging made of similar raw material. Some larger shopping malls have bins labelled “energiajae” for this purpose. Should you wish to recycle you bottles, you can drop them into one of these.

What does Feather Flow mean?

In addition to feather referring to feathers, the things birds are covered with, it also refers to hitting a long, high that drops lightly on the green, with little roll (http://en.mimi.hu/golf/feather.html). It also refers to hitting, throwing, passing, or shooting softly and usually with precision (www.m-w.com).

Flow is a concept proposed by the Hungarian born psychologist, Mihaly Csiksznetmihalyi. Flow is a mental state of operation in which a person is fully immersed in what he or she is doing, characterized by a feeling of energized focus, full involvement and success in the process of the activity.

Feather FLOW™ helps you achieve this mental state in golf.

This concept is not related to the phrase “to go with the flow” which means “to conform”.
